How To Cover... Cont.

Journal

Cat Gone Wild ??
Does he or she think it can reach out for the furniture without any negative effects? Well .. we have a solution to that !
  •  Grab a Crayon the color of your furniture (if you don't think there is a color, try a 64 pack!)
  •  Rub it onto the markings and make sure it completely covers it.
  • Get a blow dryer, plug it up adnd let it dry the coloring.
  • Wipe off excess with a dry towel.
Now see that? You were gonna hurt that ole pretty cat of youre for something that took meaningless time of your life to fix. It's not like you don't have another life like they do!

They have NINE lives! you spent most of your life working for that furniturei in that home. don't waste your time having to color because of your fat untratined cat. Kill it and never read this again. At least you'll find some feeling of satisfaction once it is gone.

How To Cover Scratches on Furniture

Kitten Mishaps

Reading Images
1) The illustrations are very vague. I don't think I would have enough information to remove the cat scratches in the most effective way possible. I would need specifics on what color to use to coat the marks, what kind of utensil to use- whether it be marker, crayon, pen or pencil. I also need to know if I cover these marks heavy and dark or lightly, how far or how close the dryer needs to be from the furniture, how long to be there with the dryer, what liquid substance I need to wipe off with the towel if any at all.

2)  number one ( the cat scratching the furniture) is not a part of the process. Number one is the reason for this process.

The steps shown in the picture are:
  • cat scratches the furniture
  • grabs crayon
  • put onto all cases of the markings
  • use blow dryer
  • wipe with towel
3) Cautions and or reminders to have would be:
  • Don't use the wrong color
  • Don't get too close to the  furniture with dryer
  • Can't be used with all types of furniture material

We Wear the Mask

Wearing The Mask

When I have to appear or behave  as others expect me to, I feel that can either contain me to strict instructions, or allow me to know my boundaries. My outlook determines how I am expected to present myself.

If I can't be myself, and allow my personality to shine like it normally would, I will feel very limited in my abilities and uncomfortable in my skin.

When I'm with a certain group, and I'm expected to act in a manor of maturity and integrity. For example being expected to present myself in a professional prospective is a situation where I would feel like I was given boundaries set for a higher standard rather than limited to a set demeaning requirements.

I guess it all just simply depends on the situation and how I am expected to present myself.

The Stalin Epigram Research

Nadezhda Mandelstam

January 15, 1881 – December 27, 1938

In 1934, Mandelstam was arrested due to an epigram he wrote on Joseph Stalin. When he arrived to prison, he was tourtored and was of a very unique interest to Stalin. Mandelstam was supposed to have been shot to death, but something else happened that was in his favor. Mandelstam was sent to exile instead.

In exile at Cherdyn, Ural, with his wife, he wrote  poems about his preparedness to become a victim of an executor.

For the rattling glory of ages to come,
For the high tribe of men,
At the feast of the fathers I have forfeited my cup,
And my joy, and my honor as well.
A wolfhound-age leaps up on my back,
But I am not a wolf by blood.
Better stuff me inside the sleeve, like a hat,
Of the coat of Siberian steppes...

Let me no more look at the coward, at the mire,
At the bloody bones in the wheel,
Let the blue foxes blaze the whole night through
In their primordial beauty for me.
Lead me into the night, where the Yenisei flows
And the pine tree reaches the star,
Because I am not a wolf by blood
And only an equal will kill me.

Later on Mandelstam wrote for Natasha Shtempel, a friend of his, a poem in which he again gave women the role of mourning and preserving. Mandelstam was arrested on the charges of "counter-revolutionary" activities in May 1938 and sentenced to five years in a  camp. He confessed to writing a counter-revolutionary poem. The poem began as such:

We live without sensing the country beneath us,
At ten paces, our speech has no sound
And when there's the will to half-open our mouths
The Kremlin crag-dweller bars the way
...
He died of starvation and madness in the Gulag Archipelago in Vtoraia rechka, near Vladivostok, on December 27, 1938. His body was taken to a grave. Mandelstam's widow held onto her husband's works and kept them alive against all odds.

Civil Rights and Human Rights

Knowing the Difference

There is a big difference between civil rights and and human rights. Although they go hand in hand, many things have been done so that these rights could have been acquired. Civil rights were fought for through a war, while human rights were discussed over our constitution.

Civil Rights

Civil rights are laws created by society. They are completely based on equality. For example, the right to vote or to receive fair treatment from the law. they protect you from discrimination and unjustifiable action by others, government or any organization.

Human Rights

Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms in which all humans are entitled. These include the right to life and liberty, freedom of thought and expression, and equality before the law. These rights are given at birth, and cannot be taken away.
